Customer Appreciation Day 2009Customer Appreciation Day is Sunday, September 13th. Hours for both Sunlite Pool and the classic rides are 11-6. Special pricing is available for both the pool and rides. Pool: $6.95 per person, Rides: $6.95 per person, and Pool and Rides: $9.95 per person. This is the last day of the season for Sunlite Pool! Coney introduces the Twister in 2009Coney will introduce the Twister water slide complex in 2009. The complex features four water slides; two body slides and two tube slides. Construction is set to begin in the spring on the $2 million project, with the slides opening with Sunlite Pool for Memorial Day weekend, 2009. Coney Now Closed until 2009, Zoom Flume demolitionAfter the conclusion of the Fall-O-Ween Festival, Coney Island is now officially closed for the 2008 season. The park will reopen with the Cincinnati Flower Show, April 18th-26th, 2009. Sunlite Pool and the classic rides officially reopen Memorial Day weekend, 2009. For all the special events that will be held at Coney in 2009, click here. The 31 year old Zoom Flume has completed its 32nd and final season of operation. The 500 foot long water slide that opened in the 1977 season was recently demolished to make way for new adventures in 2009. Turtle Parade will be a kiddie ride with turtle shaped cars. Additionally, River Runner, a viking ship, will debut on the banks of Lake Como.
