This site is maintained by Robbie Zerhusen. Robbie has been a seasonal employee at Coney Island since 2002. While he has a professional job at a Cincinnati architecture firm, he has continued to be a rides manager at Coney in the evenings and on the weekends.
Robbie was the 2014 recipient of the Jim Babb award, the highest honor that Coney bestows on a seasonal employee. Robbie is the 25th recipient of this award.
The Jim Babb award honors its namesake for his dedication to Coney Island, for alway sputting forth his best effort in getting the job done. Jim’s pride in his work and his enthusiasm for the park’s success never waned. He was always thrilled to be a part of the Coney team.
